ECSA Membership and PHRF Application
ECSA utilizes an online applicaiton system for PHRF certificates. Using this system you can submit your application. Your application will be assigned to the next available ECSA handicapper (as of 2007 the individual club handicapper system has been replaced with a system that assigns applications for PHRF certificates to handicappers on a rotating basis).
Once your assigned handicapper has processed your application, you will be notified by email, and you will be able to access the final certificate online here at ecsa.net.
Note that the online application requires that you have comprehensive measurement information available to fill in your vessel specifications. For details on these mesaurements, see the PHRF Regulations, Definitions, and Adjustments document.
In addition you will need to join ECSA and pay for the membership and PHRF certificate online using a credit card. Please be sure to have your specifications and a credit card at hand before starting the application. Note that the system will recall your previous year's specifications if your vessel was previously handicapped in ECSA. Regardless, new and/or additional information may still be required to complete the application.
